Hello GORGEOUS! It has been a while, but it is never too late to come back to the things that bring us joy. For us, that is fitness, nutrition, and everything related to vaginas. Today we are discussing new fitness and nutritional goals and how your menstrual cycle can help or sabotage your goals. But first, we are curious…. do you care about your camel toe showing while exercising?? If you wear tight leggings when working out, sometimes your labia moves out of place from the underwear and it likes to say hi. In my case, my anatomy is full lips everywhere, so no matter what I do, my lips are usually showing. That is a thing I used to worry about when working out. Now, I try to do my best by accommodating the situation, but I won’t go the extra mile to wear padded underwear, because that’s a thing. So I want to know your thoughts in the poll below.
OK let’s get back to this issue’s topic on new fitness and nutritional goals haha. In an earlier issue, we discussed how it is easier for womb holders to start new nutrition and fitness goals when they are in their follicular phase. This is the first two weeks of your menstrual cycle, including the bleeding time. We are all different, but generally during this phase, your energy is at its highest, your hormones are more balanced, and food cravings are less common. So I want to suggest to all our hotties there! Yes, you! Rather than starting those new goals on January 1st, consider doing it on your schedule, your menstrual cycle! Period Tips By Phase
*note: not all periods or phases are equal. You might spend a longer or shorter number of days in each of the phases than other women, girls, trans and non binary people you know that menstruate.*
⚡️ Follicular (Day 1 - 13) → Time to Crush those Goals!
✮ This is the time when we feel the most energetic! It is a great time to start new challenges like trying a new workout class, starting new routines, or simply crush those personal weight liftying goals! We are cheering for you!
Are you focused on fertility, have PCOS or endometriosis, are transitioning f > m, or want specific tips? Drop us a note and let us know so we can share info for you!

Period Aesthetics
The Great Wall of Vulva
In 2006, British artist Jamie McCartney created the original vulva diversity project that has inspired so many more.
The wall sculpture consists of four hundred plaster casts of vulvas, all of them unique, and the age range of the participants is from 18 to 76. You can do a virtual visit here.

Thought Provoking
