Hello Gorgeous…we just wanted to say…
I always get way too excited about starting a new year. When that clock strikes 12:00:00 on New Years Day, there’s a chill of excitement in the air. You can feel it tingling in your bones! I love the idea of starting with a clean slate. With entering a new year, I revisit my fitness, financial, personal, and relationship goals.
These aren’t unique to me though. Many of us have goals for each new year and our vag-tastic team is here cheer for you! Through it all we also want to remind you to be mindful of that magnificent body you call home. We wanted to remind you that weight is just a number. Also, weight fluctuation is a normal thing for all human beings, especially those that have a uterus in their belly. In fact, a menstruator may gain around two to six pounds of weight when it comes to period time. Our bodies are impacted by water retention, hormonal changes, bloating…the list goes on.
This is why I want to suggest an additional goal to all of you. Loving your body right at this moment, in this current stage. The workouts and the cooking are the easiest of all the goals. But no amount of sweat and size of pants can replace a confident human being. There is nothing sexier than knowing and valuing your body.
So the next time you walk by that mirror and see your beautiful derriere shaking and jiggling, slap that body and give your body a compliment.
Example compliments:
“mmmmm it’s pudding season”
“that’s must be jelly cuz jam don’t shake like that”
“I woke up like this bitch”
When was the last time you thank those gorgeous legs for taking you to places?
Now scroll your fine self down and see what we have in store for you.
Period Tips By Phase
*note: not all periods or phases are equal. You might spend a longer or shorter number of days in each of the phases than other women, girls, trans and non binary people you know that menstruate.*
⚡️ Follicular (Day 1 - 13) → Time to Crush those Goals!
✮ During this phase you’re likely to have more energy and strength, allowing you to put even more effort into your workouts. This is also a great time to set up new habits like working out or trying a new meal prep recipe.
Are you focused on fertility, have PCOS or endometriosis, are transitioning f > m, or want specific tips? Drop us a note and let us know so we can share info for you!
