🎉Welcome to Issue #17

The topic I want to bring to the forefront of your minds today is ‘The Spark.’

You know that feeling you get when you meet someone new? That unspoken magnetism that you might feel, there’s butterflies in your stomach, and your ute' might tingle a little but you can’t figure out what exactly it is about them that has captivated you?

What is that?

I’ve been reading a book this week called Come As Your Are, by Emily Nagoski. It’s all about the science of sex for women. She explains different aspects of sexuality and gives scenarios for why things are working/not working in women’s sex lives, including the “Spark.” There’s lots of great nuggets of info and wisdom in there but there’s one specific thing she explains that I found fascinating.

That the spark we feel comes and goes, can be lit and re-lit, heightened or diminished based on CONTEXT. You change the context and you change the spark’s presence and intensity.

So my question to you lovelies before you scroll down for more goodies is this: Do you think that the ‘spark’ is real? If yes, have you felt it with more than one person? and what would you give to feel it again?

Period Tips By Phase

*note: not all periods or phases are equal. You might spend a longer or shorter number of days in each of the phases than other women, girls, trans and non binary people you know that menstruate.*

🍳 Ovulation (Day 1 - 13) → Connect, connect, connect!

✮ Ovulation means a surge of estrogen. If you’re ovulation, then call up some friends and connect with them. What better way to welcome a little egg into the fallopian tube than with the happy sounds of you and your friends.
