✨Thank you all for being a part of our amazing Cliterati community! We have a surprise coming up in the next few weeks so stay tuned!✨
🎉Welcome to Issue #11
Today’s message is primarily in Spanish!!! Hispanic Heritage Month, (We definitely need a better term! But that’s for another issue), started on September 15th and concluded on October 15th. Our goal was to honor our Latinx background with an issue in Spanish. Iran's critical events postponed it. The revolution in Iran continues and we will continue to find ways to support the movement, but for now, this issue goes to all those who learned English as a Second Language and to those whose parents didn’t teach them their language for many reasons. Maybe you immigrated as a High School Junior, grew up at a home donde se hablaba primero en Español, or Spanish was a secret language that only a few spoke at home. So here we go!! Also, if you don’t read in Spanish, here is the English Version.
Estos son algunos de los ideales que salieron de esa tarde de pandemia, y que desde entonces no miro atrás;
Disfruto tanto no compartir mi appetizer y postre.
Period Tip By Phase
*note: not all periods or phases are equal. You might spend a longer or shorter number of days in each of the phases than other women, girls, trans and non binary people you know that menstruate.*
🩸Menstrual (Day 1 - 5)→ Fight the summer heat & sugar cravings
✮ Support your body with a superfood smoothie filled with dark green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, seaweed, banana, and dark chocolate. Yum! My favorite smoothie is coconut water with lots of leafy greens like spinach and kale, a few pieces of frozen mango, and topped off with some chia seeds and coconut.

Think about the last 10 women you’ve seen. Can you remember their faces? Their eyes? What were they wearing? Statistics show that 10 women are killed every day in Mexico.
Starting in 2020, a feminist group called “Las Brujas del Mar” started a national strike in Mexico asking all those who identify as female to march and protest against femicide. The event is a day after Women’s Day On March 9th.

Water can temporarily cork your flow according to Jessica Shepherd, MD, ob-gyn and U by Kotex partner. "It's not that you stop bleeding [when you are in the water], it's more that there's pressure to stop blood from flowing out."
