Tips to Sweeten the Dracula Teabag
Music Credits: Ocean by ProdbyTanj

🎉Welcome to Issue 6!

Hey you model! Are you having a vagtastic day? I read a really interesting article the other day about gender roles (scroll below to see it) so we’re about to jump head first into some serious shit.

I’m curious to know…ever since you could remember, what gender really spoke to your spirit? did you look in the mirror and walk around in the world hearing your name and feel like “yea…that’s me. I’m effing awesome.”

Whether you were born connecting with your gender or you’re a cutie little caterpillar that went into a cocoon and emerged as a beautiful butterfly, you’re wonderful YOU! I have always wondered though why do humans (patriarchy or not) agree to create gender roles and assign specific genitals to them? Isn’t it too specific for everyone to accept that if you have a vagina, uterus, vulva, and all that shuhbang then you’re also feminine, fem, a woman, with all the “features” that come with it? (I know I sound like I’m describing a car.)

Over time I’ve grown to question every thought I have based on the gender binary and I encourage everyone else to do that too. Do you really have to call yourself a woman if your vagina bloody cries every month? Are you not allowed to call yourself a woman if your vagina doesn’t bleed ever or if you don’t have one? Let’s not keep ourselves in these boxes. Let’s be free! We’re all part of the Cliterati and working towards the same goals (crushing the souls of our enemies 👹.)

Now scroll on down gor…gor…gorgeous human, get your period tip, your art, and some more interesting goodies.

Period Tips By Phase

*note: not all periods or phases are equal. You might spend a longer or shorter number of days in each of the phases than other women, girls, trans and non binary people you know that menstruate.*

💤Luteal (Day 15 - 28) → Slow down

✮ This phase brings a spike of progesterone, mood swings, and bloating so it is time to hunker down in a nice warm bath, drink some ginger lemon tea, and rub on calming body oil (check out Cora’s for a nice one).

Period Aesthetics

Kehinde Wiley

Kehinde’s work challenges the representation of black masculinity as synonymous with violence through heroic portrait painting. He embraces differences in gender and repositions black male bodies against floral wallpapers to portray them as objects of desire, eroticism, and vulnerability.
