🎉Welcome to Issue 7!
Hey…
You there…
Yea…I’m talking to you…
Hello gorgeous…
Of course your gal pals are back again wanting to talk to about something personal. We’re actually about to dial up the personal heat to a 100 in this B!
How old were you when you realized, ‘huh, I’m not asking for what I want in bed’? Then did you have that conversation with your partner? Did you feel judged, blamed, or accused of liking something WEIRD?🦄
Everyone has different sexual needs. Between Actirasty (arousal to the sun’s rays), and Katoptronophilia (arousal to sex in front of mirrors), to Nebulophilia (arousal to fog), and Psychrophilia (arousal to being cold and watching others who are cold), every person is getting their socks knocked off their feet in a different way day and night. Different strokes for different folks, ya dig? 😉
And let’s be honest, there is 👉🏼nothing weird👈🏼 about the things we enjoy in bed, as long as you are an adult and consensual. You wanna get freaky when you walk through the forest and see wood (Xylophilia)? Then have at it and get in the mood with the wood. Do you get all the sexual tingles being tickled by feathers (Pteronphilia)? There are no birds that can stop you!
Or maybe you are still figuring out how to navigate life as a beautiful sexual being. Whatever your rub is we hope this little conversation sparks your imagination and serves as a reminder that we must advocate for our sexual needs and let our partners know. And if for some reason you think what your partner likes is weird, be MINDFUL. Rather than judging, be curious…why do they like that? Ask specific questions! Is it pressure, sensation, or….control…?meOW! You name it!
I promise you, it will be fun and worth it for you both, if you know what I mean. In the meantime, check out this article for some sexpiration and scroll on down for a tip, some art, and more goodies!
Period Tip By Phase
*note: not all periods or phases are equal. You might spend a longer or shorter number of days in each of the phases than other women, girls, trans and non binary people you know that menstruate.*
🩸Menstrual (Day 1 - 5)→ Fight the fatigue with foods rich in magnesium
✮ During the menstrual phase, fatigue comes easily. To help make it better, we eat foods rich in good old magnesium. Some examples include kale, spinach, pumpkin seeds, bananas, almonds, and dark chocolate. Get a green smoothie or you can make it with different leafy greens, banana, and coconut water, and top it with pumpkin seeds.
Are you focused on fertility, have PCOS or endometriosis, are transitioning f > m, or want specific tips? Drop us a note and let us know so we can share info for you!
